Innovation should support societal responsibility for health

This BMJ Opinion piece considers how innovation might be used to build alternative futures for public health

The evidence we have on the importance of social determinants in shaping health is overwhelming. Yet in the push for personalised prevention, these determinants are being sidelined. This Opinion piece argues that innovation should focus on prioritising and facilitating societal responsibility for health.
